The 2012 NJ Chapter Annual Elections will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012
at the Holiday Inn, Somerset, NJ. The following positions are open for election:
- President (2 yr term)
- 2nd Vice President (2 yr term)
- Secretary (2 yr term)
- 2 Delegates (2 yr term)

In addition, all candidates MUST complete and sign a Code of Conduct prior to the elections.

1. Candidate for Chapter President must be a member 3 years prior to candidacy.
2. Candidate for Chapter President must have served in an elected/appointed office, on
the NJ Chapter Board, for two years prior to candidacy and attend CVOP, within the year of
the election for which they are President.
3. The Candidate for First Vice President must have held a prior elected/appointed office
or appointed Chair position.
4. Immediate Past President, upon non-re-election to position of Chapter President, shall
serve as a voting member of the Chapter Board of Directors, for a two (2) year term or until a
successor takes office.
Please note AMTA National Bylaws regarding eligibility requirements:
- A candidate for elected office shall be a Professional member in good standing and sign the
Chapter Volunteer Code of Conduct, prior to election.
- A candidate shall not have been removed from office/position within the last fiscal year.
- If you are interested in running for an elected position, your application and signed Code of
Conduct, must be received by the Commission on Candidacy Chair, at least 5 business days
prior to the elections.
